I once had the pleasure of working for Rockn Rocks before I left to pursue Second Wave Studio full time - so I am already a huge fan! They are a family owned and operated business - which is the kind of business that I myself am always looking to support! It was truly one of the most fun jobs I have ever had. Not only did I get to work with beautiful beads all day, but I also loved the entire Casteel family and my co-workers. I am happy to be "recycled" so I can work with them once again. On May 16th, 2001 while filming a segment for the Ripley's Believe It or Not show, Billy "Rocketman" Copeland set a new Guinness World Record of 98.5 M.P.H. for rocket powered luge after firing 15 of 24 rockets. A new rocketluge equipped with a 48 engine high powered rocket launching system will be placed in a permanent display with several of his other luge's at the Customs House Museum in Clarksville, TN. |
